Hello,

To postpone the cycle you can take Medroxyprogesterone Acetate tablet 10 mg twice daily starting 5 days before the expected date of your cycle. Contra-indication for taking the medicine is any history of liver disease, thrombosis / DVT / migraine / pulmonary embolism or any thrombotic disorder. If you do not have history of any of these diseases you can safely take the medicine.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Praseetha Narayanan, OB & GYN Specialist
