Hi yesterday evening while cooking I burnt two spots on my upper chest area (near neck) due to hot oil splattered. I applied cold water on it and then applied Silverex (0.2%w/w). This morning, while the slight burning sensation is pretty much gone, those two spots which had been reddish yesterday have turned into brown/blackish bumps (not liquid filled). I am continuing with Silverex today but am worried about any marks left by this. I am getting married this December and don t want any unsightly marks on my upper chest area. Please help.
hi. I have read your question and understand your query.
burns can lead to unsighty marks. but from your question I understand that your burns are very superficial.
superficial burns usually heal without leaving any marks. so you need not worry much. reddish spots turning into brownish color is the normal course of healing.
I suggest you protect the burnt area from sun by either wearing high neck clothes or sunscreen. continue with silverex ointment twice daily till complete healing.
hope this answer has solved all your queries. for any further queries please get back to us. thanks.
