I have a red growth under my eye. I was told it was a broken blood vessel? It s raised and the size of a pencil eraser. Last week under the growth swoll up like a balloon in the dark part under my eye I plan to have it removed but what type of surgery do they do?? Laser or cut it out. Plus what is it!? Hello
It seems from the history that you are having a red colored growth on the eye.
If it is a broken blood vessel no treatment is required as it will get absorbed over 3-4 weeks.
But if it is a growth ad in pterygium or papilloma it requires excision.
Since two doctors have told it differently you can take another opinion from another doctor or if you can send the photo of the affected eye I can confirm the diagnosis and advice regarding further treatment.

Thank you
