I noticed several years ago that my right knee is aligned differently than my left knee. If I point my feet straight, my right knee turns significantly inwards. So, in order to keep my knees aligned, I've become accustomed to walking with my right foot pointing out at about a 45 degree angle. I run college track (as a sprinter and tripler jumper) and have never had major issues. However, yesterday I began to develop a severe pain on the right side of my right knee, which has prompted me to consider the possible detrimental issues associated with my knee, and how I can fix it. What are some therapy options, or even surgery. The misalignment is pretty severe.
