Suggest Trestment For Crohn S Disease

I recently was diagnosed with crohns disease ( Oct 2013).My meds for crohns is Pentasa and Remicade Infusions. This past April 2014 I had a complete hysterectomy ( removed my ovaries, uterus, cervix, appendix) due to stage 4 endometriosis. During my last surgery it was shown I had an enlarged spleen. My left rib cage area is still very much sensitive which I believe is because of my spleen. Fatigue is really been setting in the past 2 weeks, pains are daily, nauseated when I eat, full feeling. Now my left arm is achy, feels like I have a pinched nerve in it or had a vaccination of some sort. I looked at my past blood tests and found my MPV is 7.5, below normal. I looked online to see what that really means and it said it can come from an enlarged spleen!! I have mentioned this to my GI doctor, he told me to try Prilosec to rule out something else. I know this isn t heart burn. Just not sure if it s something I need to be taking more serious and get it checked or wait. Can a spleen become enlarged due to active crohns? Thank You!
