Suggest Ways To Postpone Menstruation
Hi, I have a party on the 13th of Dec so wanted to stop my period for then. I had planned on starting prumolut n today the 4th as my period was due on the 7th. I have woken up now and it looks as tho they were going to start early. Is it still worth taking them or won t it stop a period once it s already started?

Hi, I have gone through your question. Primolut-N (norethisterone) is efficacious in delaying periods only when is started at least 5-6 days prior to the due date and continued till the periods are not desired.
I would suggest you to continue taking the drug till the periods are not there. Once the periods have started, it is of no use to take it, as it will not stop the periods.
