Suggest Ways To Tackle Anxiety Attacks With Weaning Off From Ativan

Hi i have been taking ativan for many years and i want to learn how to deal with anxiety with out it.Many situations have happened,And i started taking it after post pardum. Now i feel more anxious trying to get off it.I feel i can't get off of it alone.My mom is 92 and we as a family are dealing with alot right now..I walk daily and have a business that i try to focus on..Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated..Thank -You,

In that case, either you can gradually taper it off or shift to sedative antidepressant like mirtazapine or trazodone that would help you to keep relax and would help to control benzodiazepine induced withdrawal. Better to consult a psychiatrist for proper management and help. In case, you need further help, you can ask.
