Hi, I understand your concern. Cytotec contains prostaglandin Misoprostol. It is a uterine contractor. So with increasing doses of misoprostol, you are getting more contractions & bleeding. By abortion we expect expulsion of products of conception, & to acheive that, mouth of uterus must be opened-That is why Cytotec works better with Mifepristone which is a cervical dilater. There is no point in repeating Cytotec, you should consult your doctor & try to improve the treatment regime-& get the problem sorted. It s advisable to consult doctor to avoid risk of excessive bleeding too. * Pregnancy test may remain positive in spite of first trimaster abortion, even after 2 weeks following it. So it s better to go for USG abdomen ,for checking abortion & also confirming complete abortion. Thanks.
