Suggested Thyronorm. What Will Be The Right Dose Corresponding To A Particular TSH Level?
Please see my TSH level- One year back- 100 - Took Thyrox 150 July 13- 31.51, Continued with Thyronorm 150 Sept 13 - 0.064, Suggested Thyronorm 125 What will be the right dose corresponding to a particular TSH level? At what interval I need to check for TSH level?
Hi...the dose dosent corresponds to a level...rather it is the rate and degree of change (increase or decrease in tsh levels) that guide the dose of drug...the goal being to keep the levels as close to normal or as the case warrents it...you should repeat the test at intervals of 4-6 month...if your tsh gets steady at this level you will have to continue the same dose...
