Surgery Done For Breast Cancer. Recommended Tamoxifen. Is It Safe To Use Vaginal Estrogen Cream?

Because of breast cancer (low grade, surgery done, seems fine) an oncologist recommended tamoxifen. I'm reluctant to take it but if I do I was wondering if it was still ok to use a vaginal estrogen cream or equivalent but he says no. The surgeon who did the operation and the oncologist who will be doing the radiation say it's Ok. Seems to me the jury is out on this and it should be my choice. What's your opinion?

hi,
i would suggest not to go for the estrogen cream, as your tamoxifen acts against it. so, that means you may need more drug to manage cancer.

wishing you good health
