Swallowed Fish Bone, Tonsils Infection. Should I Get A CT Scan?
Hello ,
3 months ago swallowed a fish bone ever since i feel like its not smooth to swallow as it use to be and somtimes feel s like tonsils infection pains comes and go ... what are the sypmptoms of a fish bone stuck for so long? CT is the only test i didnt do yet..but was told CT would be able to show the bone ..if there
Hi, If a fishbone had been stuck for 3 months you would probably be experiencing symptoms of pain and infection. This would be pain, possibly sharp in nature, in your esophagus or upper chest behind your sternum. Infection would cause a fever. If you are feeling something abnormal when you swallow then an ENT specialist would be able to examine your upper airway by indirect laryngoscopy to exclude something stuck or any abnormal tissues.
