Swallowed Four Dose Of Bleach During Root Canal Surgery, Throat Sore. Any Long Term Problem?
On Tuesday I had root canal surgery. During the process I swallowed up to four doses of the bleach which my dentist was not aware of until the end of surgery. I was unable to inform him during the process as could not speak! Since then my throat has been rather sore but no obvious ill effects. Could there be long term problems? Many thanks
Hello, If you are c/o gastric irritation, antiemetics or enema has to be administered to expel the bleach from your body. If no difficulty is associated, no need to worry. Please do visit your dentist for further concern. Meanwhile, take plenty of fluids and nutritious diet. Swish with lukewarm saline frequently. Hope this helps.
