Swallowing Problem, White Mucus, Endoscopy Good, Lpr
My daughter who is five..has had swallowing issues for a month now. Always clearing her throat and some white Mucus comes up. She has a hard time swallowing solid food. She had a endoscopy that came out good. Could it be lpr? She had a red irritated larynx 3 weeks ago. Her doctor isn t any help. I m concerned. I notice she holds her throat near her larynx when she tries solid food. Any feedback would be appreciated..this is upsetting to me and her. Thank you!

I have gone through your query regarding swallowing problem of your 4 years old daughter, though her upper G.I.endoscopy came nonmal.
As you said that your daughter hold swallowed food at larynx and white mucous is also there, all these indicates that some inflammatory pathology is going on at her laryngopharynx and this may be ruled out by Direct Laryngoscopy by your ENT doctor.
Till you are waiting for specialist consultation you may give these to your kid-
1- Steam inhalation.
2- Anti histaminic.
3- Mucolytic.
Above will help to your kid.
