Swelling In Forehead. History Of Sunburn Treated With Aloe Vera Gel, A&D Ointment. What Is Wrong?
I got a bad sunburn on Sunday, Ive been treating it with aloe vera gel, cool compresses and A&D ointment on the bad parts. Today(Tuesday) I decided to do my regular workout, after which my forehead swelled up! Its not a pustule or blister, just swollen. Ive taken ibuprofen and applied an ice pack but it hasnt gone down all the way. Ive never experienced this before and Im a little worried.
Hello, Thanks for the query. Sun burn cannot be treated just by application of aloe vera. you need to apply some mild steroid lotion. This will reduce the blistering and induce better healing. Once this episode is over, you must apply sunscreen to prevent further burns
