Swelling In Right Foot, Reddish Blue Discoloration In Lower Legs. Normal Scan And X Rays

I always have swelling in my right foot, sometimes slight and sometimes major swelling. I also have a reddish-blue discoloration of both lower legs. Doctors seem to disregard the discoloration. Have had scans & x-rays of the right leg and foot for swelling but nothing seems to show anything. I'm otherwise a very healthy 83 year-old female.

At 83 years of age the extent of health you have is a miracle. May God give you more than that.
some bluish discoloration at extremities is innocuous at this age as the vascuature and infrastructure of your body is abit degenerative because of increased age. So don't bother any little discoloration unless there is some pain or ulcer or diabetes history or any immuno compromised state in which case a proper management and care would be required as factors of delayed recovery will add up to the increased age and wil need special care in this regard.

As i said that its a miracle and you must have taken very good care of yourself for which your health is maintained. Keep the good habits on and stop worrying. We all should accept the restrctions of our ages and under those limitations you are the perfect model and ideal of a physician.

I wish you health better than this even and take some good care of yourself.
