Swelling, Pain After Getting Hit In Eyes. Anything To Worry?

Hi my boyfriend has been hit in the eye. It's is swollen so much he can not open his eye. He has contacts in also. He is experiencing a lot of pain on that side of his face and head and he said he feels cold, yet warm to the touch. He doesnt want to go to hospital but what do u think? Could it b anymore serious than a really bad black eye?

HI
Thank for choosing HCM
Of course it is great matter of concern you will have see ER as early as possible, eye injury should never be taken lightly or as granted, the condition could be serious as long the question of vision and injury to retina are there, take care, have good day.
I find this answer helpful
