Swollen Area Above Right Eye, Recurring. Normal CT Scan. What Kind Of Doctor Should I See?
I I have a swollen area above my right eye on the forehead and down the side of my face. It comes and goes about every 3 months. I have been to many doctors and went to emergency for CT scan which they found nothing. It is very tender to the touch and protrudes on my forehead. Last time it interfered with my eye sight went to the eye doctor, had all kinds of tests done, took antibiotics. It takes about a week to go away. Whjat kind of doctor should I see?
Hi.. Thanks for the query... It could be a mild allergic reaction or a swelling because of raised intra orbital pressure.. Because you have already undergone all tests no need to worry.. But I suggest you to consult an oculoplasty surgeon for further evaluation and necessary investigations...Take care...
