Swollen Gland Between Anus And Vagina, Rectal Pain. Due To Vaginal Infection?
I have a bump under my skin in the area between my anus and vaginal opening . It has gotten bigger and hurts to touch, I also Experiance rectal pain. I spoke with my oncologist about it last week while doing a checkup for my previous cancer occurance( I an 3 years clean) and she said it was a swollen gland that may have been caused by a vaginal infection. Is this right ?
Hi thanks for your question
There are few possibilities what the swelling which you are mentioning between your vaginal opening and anus could be;
No Ist being A boil (infected hair follicle) second can be vaginal infection, causing swelling of peri vaginal area.
Third being the small peri anal abscess, and fourth could be small external hemorrhoid.
Get yourself examined by a general physician to know exactly what this swelling is?
Hope this answers your question
