I would suggest you to consult urologist to know the cause of decreased urine output ( can be due to Kidney infection or damage to organ ) . If Ultrasonogram of kidney result shows normal study then should know whether he has shortness in breath and Echo study shows heart pumping capacity which can make diagnosis at earliest and can have good prognosis from disease .
