Hello and thank you for asking!
I hhave gone carefully through your concern.
There are two definitive treatment of hyperthyroidism, as you are informed, but none of them can be performed until the hormonal level is back to normal with neo-mercazole.

So, you should monitor the thyroid hormones (as your physician will recommend) and increase the dose of Neo- mercazole if necessary.
The symptoms that still persists are indicative of hyperthyroidism.

After the hormones are stabilised, you will decide together with your treating physician about radio iodine treatment or surgical removal.

Hope the information will help.

Kind regards,
Dr.Mirjeta
