Swollen Red Nose, Swelling Under Eyes, Red Painful Boils. Facial Scan, X-ray Normal. Causes?
Hi, My husband has had a swollen red nose and under his eye for about a year and the doctors can t find what is wrong any suggestions. He is also getting boils, they never get a head. Just seem to get red and painful and he can also have swollen glands when they appear. He has had a facial scan, and xray , nothing seems to be the problem. But the face is irritating to him. The condition seems to be rosecea and according to your history it has progressed to next stage.you will need medical as well surgical line of treatment including lasers.Strict sun avoidance,no harsh soaps,no hot and spicy foods are some of homecare measures you can try.Apply plenty of moisturizers.Please concert a dermatologist nearby and start treatment accordingly.thnx

Hye! Your husband would be having rosacea.. Swollen nose is Rhinophyma. Cap Minocycline 50 mg twice a day for 3 to 6 months, Metronidazole gel or azelaic acid cream will improve the disease. Avoid stress, heavy exercise, alcohol, spicy food, caffein containing drink, excessive heat or coldness.. to prevent the reccurence of the disease. Cosmetic surgery or laser would be helpful for better look. .. Ok
