Swollen, Tender Lymph Node After Undergoing Bone Grafting On Lower Jaw. Is This A Cause For Concern?

I just had a bone graph done Friday, today is Monday. The bone graph was done on the front inside of my lower jaw. Today I've noticed that the lymph node on the left side of my jaw is swollen and tender to the touch. I have no fever, am taking antibiotics. It goes away when I take an anti-inflammatory. Should I be concerned?

Hello and welcome.

Thanks for sharing your concern.

As you have mentioned you do not have fever presently and also you are under antibiotic coverage therefore it should not bother you much.

once you are done with your antibiotic course and the symptoms still persists then please seek your surgeon's help for clinical evaluation.

For now you can relax and take your medication as per advised.

Hope it helps.

Thanks.
Take care.
