Taken Tevetan And Tynsta For High Blood Pressure. Increased Blood Pressure After Taking Micardis. What Do You Think?

Hi I am a lady and I am 68 years old. I have had high blood pressure for about nine years. I was on Tevetan blood pressure tablets for eight years and all was ok. About a year ago the blood pressure went up and my Doctor prescribed Tynsta . I was on that for one year and once again about four weeks ago the blood pressure went up
So the doctor put me on ExForge hct , which wasn't right and now I am on Micardis. Have been taking it for two weeks
I feel a lot better but was surprised yesterday to find the blood pressure is up to 166/80. I am not happy with this at all so it looks like I might have to change again. What do u think

Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

Changing the drug is an option – not the only option...
Ideally, the given drug should be upped to its maximum permitted dose / a second drug may be added / even a third or fourth...
Investigations to the cause or complication have to be carried out...
The treating doctor may suggest them depending on need, based on his assessment of the situation.
This level of pressure is not an emergency / your doctor will eventually be able to find an ideal combination – it is a question of time and titration...

Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
Good luck
