Taken Next Choice After Unprotected Sex. Stomach Pain, Discomfort In Side, Blood In Urine. Pregnancy?
I took next choice the morning after pill after having unprotected sex 12 hrs after. I ve been having pains on my side stomach and also I feel discomfort when going to the bathroom and it s been a week now and today I noticed that I had blood in my urine could this be a sign of pregnancy or an eptopic pregnancy or can the morning after pill could have caused a UTI because I get the feeling that I has to go but I don t really thank you.
Hi ! It could be an UTI, but morning after pill may not be responsible for the same. You have to exclude it by going for a routine urine test and a culture sensitivity test of the urine if need be and advised by your family physician. Another possibility is the blood has come from the vagina, and is mixed in your urine putting you into confusion. If it is a vaginal bleeding, then a chance pregnancy with incomplete miscarriage has to be excluded by your family physician by doing a urine preg-test, a serum HCG, and an ultrasound abdomen if need be and advised by him/her. WIshing you an early recovery.
