Taking Ayurvedic Medicine For Abnormal Periods. Have PCOD. Chances Of Infection?
Hi, I am 23 years married female. I have PCOD. I am taking Ayurvedic medicines from last three months and periods had become regular but this month my periods started scanty and became heavy and not stopping. I have taken allopathic tablet to stop periods but still my blood is on. Can u pls tell me are there any chances of infection? I have done ultrasound and Endo thickness is 7mm and left ovary is 12cc and right is 15cc.uterus and other things are normal. so can u pls tell me whether this size is ok? thank u.
Hello, Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum. Let me explain you one thing that in my opinion the heavy bleeding is due to PCOD as this is the characteristic feature of ovarian cyst. 2nd point the scanty period is also due to pcod. Endometrium thickness is normal need not to worry. In my opinion , please get in one more ultrasound and consult a gynaecologist and take treatment according to his advice. Size of ovaries are normal . Get in blood for estrogen, F S H/L H ratio and androgen levels. Good luck. Dr.HET
