Taking Janumet For Type 2 Diabetes. Have Congested Head And Cold. How Long Will This Last?

Hi, I have been on Janumet for type 2 diabetes . I was on Metformin and it upset my stomach terribly. I have been on Janumet for about 2 weeks. I now have a terribly congested head and symptoms of a cold . I understand that this can be a side affect of janumet. How long will this last? Do I just hang in there and it will go away?

Hello,
Stuffy or runny nose, sore throat and upper respiration tract infection are common side effects of using JANUMET.These symptoms shall gradually improve with passage of time and continued usage of JANUMET.However if you find the side effects very troublesome, you may consult your doctor and get the prescription revised.
Thanks
