Taking Keflex For Lump In Testicle. Foul-smelling Yellow-brown Pus Discharge

My husband has a large (golf ball sized) hard lump to the right of his testicle. He has been taking keflex 500mg x 22 doses and the area now has came "to a head". Being a man, he won't see a doctor but instead took a scalpel blade and lanced the area! About a 1/4 cup of thick yellowish brown extremely foul pus came out.

As per your query,it looks like an abscess.
As it was ruptured by your husband,please give him good antibiotic along with anti inflammatory drug.
He should consult a General surgeon/Urologist.
It is better to send the pus for culture and sensitivity.
