Taking Salazoparine And Methotrexate For Ankylosing Spondylosis. SAT Shows Asthenoteratozoospermia. Side Effects?
Hi, I have been suffering from ankylosing spondylosis since the age of 21. I was on salazoparine and methotrexate. Now the disease is under control and I have stopped taking salazoparine about 10 mths back and also discontinued methotrexate 3 months back. I did a SAT and was diagnosed with astheno teratozoospermia. How long would it take for the side effects of the meds I had been on for years to wear off. I am 30 now.

i went through your query, as your taking methotrexate it causes side effect of spermatogenesis. this is transient, after you discontinuing methtrexate after 4-5months, spermatogenesis will become normal. as you take almost for 9 years, you can wait for 6-8 months.
