Moviprep is used to clean the bowel prior to colonoscopy, barium enemas or any surgical procedure involving the colon.
Like all medications there are potential side effects, these are problems that may or may not occur. The electrolyte loss that can occur as the colon is cleaned can sometimes be associated with complications such as seizures. Since you have a previous seizure history, you may want to determine the potential risk of this event.
If you have concerns regarding this medication, you should speak to your gp or the gastroenterologist who may have prescribed it .
