Taking Insulin To Control Blood Sugar. Increased Blood Pressure. How To Control BP?
I am a Diabetic for the last 9 years , I am 30 years old , I have to take insulin to control my blood sugar , However recently inspite of all my efforts my blood preassure has also risen it is now 150-140/80. I jog for almost 4 km every other day and lead a active lifestyle my foodis also heavily controlled. Is there anything else i can do to control my blood preassure other than starting tablets.
Reduce your weight to keep it in Ideal Body Weight (IBW). Take low salt diet ie. 2 gram per day. if BP not controlled within a span of 2-4 months better to add tablets ( ARB or ACE ) group of drugs.
