Hi
Welcome to HealthcareMagic forum.
Diabetes is a condition which can be controlled and brought to normal limits but cannot be cured , hence if you want to keep the sugar under control , which in turn means leading a normal healthy life , you must follow a good diabetic diet, along with this, physical activity daily is compulsory , since diabetes involves the heart, kidneys , muscles, everything , you must take care that your
cholesterol levels are normal , blood pressures also and weight correct for your height .
By these measures we can control the levels, but this does not mean the
insulin has to be stopped , with sugar readings , the doctor may reduce the dose of insulin or change to oral tablets depending on many factors, insulin is preferred to tablets once started on .
Wish you good health
