Taking Simvastatin, Blood Pressure And Cholesterol Level Normal, Prickling Sensation In Leg And Feet

Hi I have been on sivistatin for four months. My cholesterol reading is 4.00 and I am on 40 mg a day. I was put on this because of a problem with my eye even thought my blood pressure and cholesterol reading are not high. I now have prickling and occasionally pulsating in my legs and feet. It can be quite severe tingling at times. I have also become very fuzzy on days. It is just driving me mad. I am a 56 year old female

Some lesions over the lid and accumulation of cholesterol in retina are the problems that need reduction in cholesterol. But if cholesterol is not high and can be controlled by diet restriction that is the best option . Thus you can get rid of the side effects of drugs. Discuss about it with your physician
