Tear In Rotator Cuff. Had Operation. Again Have The Same Pain As Before The Surgery. Treatment?
I HAD A TEAR IN ROTATOR CUFF AND SURGEON UNABLE TO REPAIR, HE ALSO CUT THE BICEP TENDON ON PURPOSE TO REATTACH IT SELF. IT DIDN T DO THAT AND NOW I HAVE THE SAME PAIN IN SHOULDER AS BEFORE SURGERY AND THOBBING PAIN IN MUSCLES SURROUNDING THE ARMPIT AND SHOULDER. THERAPY DOESN T HELP AND THE NEW CORTISONE SHOT DIDN T HELP. I AM ONLY 50 AND CAN T LIVE WITH THIS PAIN FOR YEARS

I want to suggest you to get repeat MRI to see if there is some new problem which was not present before first surgery. There are times when rotator cuff is so badly torn that there is no repair possible. Still then pain relief can be provided. So i would also suggest you to see a arthroscopic surgeon.
