Teenager. On Diversion For Smoking Marijuana. Smoking Only Cigarettes Later. Will Nicotine Come Up In Drug Test?
Hello i'm 17 years old. 4 months ago i got put on diversion for smoking Marijuana. I have to be drug tested in 2 days. I haven't smoked since I've gotten caught, but i have smoked cigs. Now I hear that drug tests don't test for nicotine or cotine or however you spell that. lol I just wanted to make sure, because since i'm under 18.. if nicotine comes up will i get in trouble?
I understand your concerns. I think that your marijuana will show up on the drug tests. I also advise you to stay off of all the drugs that you have been taking including marijuana, tobacco in any form, since this will hamper your chances in getting to where you want to be in life. I hope you also visit with a substance abuse counselor. I also think that you should visit with a psychiatrist, to rule out any mental health issues.
I hope this helps. Take care and have a lovely day!
