Hello,
The data from the company doesn't state any cardiovascular side effects of this protein powder. As a protein powder it is not supposed to cause any bad effects on your heart but it definitely has some side effects which one must know.
Lot of protein can make your blood acidic resulting in pulling out of calcium from your bones resulting in weakening of bones and osteoporosis.
Lot of calcium in blood can precipitate calcium stones in kidneys.
Thanks

Hi thanxs for posting your question on healthcaremagic.

There is nothing wrong with them. The whole point of them is so you could drink a few hundred extra calories. In my opinion, it's much easier and cheaper to just make your own mass gainer at home. Using whey protein powder, milk, nuts, oats, fruits, peanut butter, etc.

You should not use these supplements regularly for months, without break,as it may cause kidney damage in long run.

Hope it helped.
