hello Doctor,
i am a female 37 yrs old , think i might have a UTI ? i bought a home test for UTI , and the results were as follow, for leukocytes positive and Nitrite negative ? i really dont have any weird syptoms , just feel full a bit bloated , and below my waisline just a slight very little pinch ? could it still be a UTI ?

Leukocytes means pus in the urine. It means you may have a mild UTI or what we call cystitis. Infection in the urinary bladder causing the discomfort in your suprapubic area or area below your umbilicus. You may need to drink antibiotics for 3 days the most common would be ciprofloxacin 500mg per cap every 12 hrs for 3 days.
