Tested Positive For C-Diff, Frequent Bowel Movement. What Could Be This?
My son tested positive on Monday the 9th for C-Diff,he has had 2 bowel movements today, and they have been normal, but he just had another one and it was runny, just a little thinner than brownie batter and it had bright red specs in it....what could this be....he has gi issues,he has had 3 c-diff infections over this past summer....what could it be.
Hi. This is an infection of the intestines. and needs antibiotic treatment and supportive medicines. The recurrence can be due to unhygienic food habits. Bright red specks in the stool indicate an active infection with ulceration of the intestines and need an urgent care.
