Thigh Bruise. X-ray Normal. Used Ice, Elevation, Ibuprofen. Blistering Bruise. Serious?
My son sustained a deep thigh bruise while playing soccer 5 days ago. We went to the emergency room, x rays were negative and we were told to treat the injury with rest, ice, elevation and ibuprofen . The bruised area is now has blisters that look like a burn . I have never seen this before on a bruise and am if it may be serious.

the deep brise may some times bleed inside and ahematoma may develop
it may be absorbed with treament or may become septic
hence you may need antibiotic course
if no improvement it may need incission and drainage
hence better consult a surgeon
