Throat Started Itching After Someone Suffering From Goiter Coughed. Can I Acquire The Disease?

some one with goiter sat next to me and she was coughing after vsome time my throat started itching upto now cud it be that i acquired the disease?

Hello!!

Goitre is a completely harmless disease and it is 100% not transmittable. Please spot worrying about that as a reason for your cough, it could be any infection/allergy that you cold have caught.

Thank you for the inquiry.Goiter is a noncontagious disease.It is enlargement of thyroid gland due to iodine deficiency.
