Throat Tightness, Constant Swallowing Of Excess Saliva, Burping. Advice?
I have a question about a tightness in my throat I’ve been having for quite some time. I feel like I am producing more saliva then usual and I have constant swallowing due to this. When I swallow I don’t feel like I am able to completely swallow all my saliva and therefore my reflex is to swallow again. My throat is really tight and almost feels tired from so much swallowing. I find that I am burping a great deal too due to the constant swallowing. Sometimes when I burp I feel a bit of relief from the tightness. It makes it difficult to hold a conversation with others at times because the reflex to swallow gets in the way. Please let me know if there is any advise you can give. Thanks!

Excessive secretion of saliva can be due to-excessive mucous secretion of salivary glands,incomplete lip seal,open carious tooth,peri coronitis.
Anti sialogouges has to be administered in such cases.
S i a l o gr a p h y investigation will help to rule out the cause of excessive saliva secretion.
Meanwhile,maintain oral hygiene well.
Use ch lo r hex id in e mouth rinses to gargle.

sinus allergy
as the sinus is involved there is excesive mucus secretion after exposure to allergens
as there is continuous drip of post nasal drip it irritate the throat causing tightness of the throat
as it fall in stomach causes gerd with reflux oesophagitis
and the acid again come up in throat causing trigering of symptomps
need to get xray pns waters view andconsult ent doctor to treat on allergy guidelines and get rid of disease
