Throbbing Feeling At The Side Of Eye And Pulsating Feeling In Left Ear Near The Staples At Head

Hi, I had a head injury on Saturday afternoon which resulted in me having 3 staples in my head. I took yesterday off work as I still felt very fragile and was getting headaches. Today I returned to work but I now I am feeling a sort of throbbing feeling at the side of my eye and a pulsating feeling in my left ear. The left side of my head is where the staples are. Should I be worried about the throbbing in my ear?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted you history of head injury, stapler, had headache. Now there is throbbing feeling at the side of the eye and pulsating in the same left side ear.
This can be a serious problem.
I would advise you the following:
Rush to the ER.
Get a clinical evaluation, examination done.
MRI of the brain and the ears and the are of throbbing will help us to confirm or rule out any post-head injury complication.
Further treatment will be as per the findings.
