Ok so a few weeks ago a went to grab a ball and missed and bent my thumb back suddenly. Pretty hard. It was in instant pain. I was able to use it so I never went to the dr. It still is tender and I can not hit the knuckle on that thumb or I am in instant pain. I also can not Open my hand in a stretch because it hurts the thumb. Last week the muscle on the inside of my hand below the thumb throbbed for three days straight. Heat helped. It finally stopped but now that same thumb is on day three of constant twitching. I am thinking that I may have done more to it than I first thought. Is this something I should get checked and if it is fractured can they even do anything.
