Thrush Around Vaginal Area. Using Desitin, Calamine, Dermoplast
How to get rid of thrush around the vaginal area. I do believe I have a yeast infection using cream like desitin and calamine, antibiotic ointment and dermoplast. The dermoplast really burns but help a lot with the burning and itching. It has been about 2 months since the onset but feeling better just cannot get rid of the thrush.
Apart from being fungal infection, there are few other things that can cause symptoms what you are mentioning as thrush around the vaginal area. I mean it may also be due to hormonal imbalance if you are of postmenopausal age.
I suggest not to try different kind of creams and ointments. Instead, think about establishing proper diagnosis, so that sensitive drug can be initiated.
