Thyroid Cancer. Did Thyroidectomy. Hurt Foot. Black Sore Swollen Spot On Foot. See The Oncologist?
Diagnosed with multi-focal-pappilary thyroid cancer with nodal involvement. Did the I-131 tratment and thyroidectomy . through treatment found that i m hypo- parathyroid , existing condition that has finnally been addressed. 4 weeks ago banged my foot and ankle. Now i have a black sore swollen spot on the top part of my foot, also spots(4) on the out-side of my foot. my Ankle bone aches still and has a lump, the bump is about 3 cm x 2 com and sticks aout about 1.5 cm other than going to my pcp should i go to my onocologist or my surgeon or endocrinologist?
I understand you had undergone thyroidectomy for thyroid cancer. Your foot problem may not be related to your thyroid cancer. Calcium and thyroxine supplement is essential. I am sure your PCP or surgeon can help you out.
