Tickling Sensation In Tonsils, Swelling In Throat, Sore Infected Wisdom Tooth. Related Symptoms?
Dear XXXXXX, I have a problem: my throat feels that is swollen inside as well as tickling sensation on my tonsils but no pain no soreness. This started 2 weeks ago but it is getting worse especially as the evening approaching. I have my wisdom tooth sore and infected which will be taken out after a week. Do you think these relate to each other. How come that there is no pain if it is infection. Thanks
Hello, Thanks for posting your query. Since your wisdom tooth is infected, usually associated symptoms include-fever,headache,nausea,ear and throat infection, tonsillitis . The symptoms will disappear once your wisdom tooth has got removed. Maintain oral hygiene well. Take complete course of antibiotics too. Rinse mouth frequently using warm saline and betadine. The pain during wisdom tooth eruption will differ in each case, depending on the position and space available for tooth eruption. Avoid anxiety and stress. Take rest for a minimum of 5 days post-extraction. Hope this helps.
