Tight Feeling In Jaw, Sore And Swollen Tongue And Glands. Healthy Lifestyle. History Of Heart Disease, ALS. Any Ideas?
My husband has been recently complaining that his jaw and tongue hurt. He described the pain in his jaw to be more of a tight feeling and that his glands feel sore (although, when I feel them..they don t feel swollen) and his tongue to be swollen or feeling too big for his mouth. I am really concerned, because he NEVER had symptoms like this before and he is very healthy and physically active. He does, however, have family history of heart disease and ALS (on his mothers side...his aunt died of ALS). Please help us figure out what to do.
Hi, welcome to health care magic forum. Your husband is feeling pain in the jaw and tongue. It could be due to the infection of the tooth, or a broken tooth might be biting the tongue and causing the infection of the mouth. I advise you to consult a dentist for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have an intra oral x ray for confirmation. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
