Tightening In Chest, Cold Sweats, Lightheadedness. Angiogram Shows No Blockages. Suggestions?
My husband has now had two episodes where he gets tightening in his chest , cold sweats, lightheaded. he just had an angiogram and there are no blockages. His father also died at the age of 44 from a heart attack , is there other heart issues it can be or could it be something else altogether. When he had the first episode we were in Galveston Texas on holidays and they mentioned Wolf Parkinson White. the episode the other day he was at work sitting at his desk and he said he instantly felt sick, cold sweat, dizzy. wanted to pass out and tightening in his chest. He had already been scheduled for an angiogram due to major changes in his stress test. Thanks for you help Denise
As u say that there were major changes in his stress test then an angiogram is the best diagnostic thing to confirm any heart disease. But as the angiogram is normal as the first line you have mentioned sounds a bit abnormal although, it can be arrhythmia like WPW syndrome or any other which comeas and goes Holter for 24 hours will be the best thing to do and monitor irregular heartbeats
