Toddler Was Accidentally Administered Two Doses (12 Drops Each) Of Fenistil For Cold. Is This An Overdose?

Hi my daughter is 16month's old and have colds. The doctor has prescribed 12 drops of fenistil. I gave her 12 drops and her aunt accidentally gave her another 12 drops thinking that i have not given her yet. Is this an overdose? What should we do? Thank you for your advice.

Hi,
Thanks and welcome to HCM.
This is an anti allergic preparation.
If you have given double dose it may cause more sedation as well as dryness of mouth.
Better stop the next dose.
Nothing to worry.
Hope this answer will serve your purpose.
Please feel free to ask me any more queries.
