Tonsil Has Been Swollen, Had Unprotected Anal Sex. HIV Infection?

my right tonsil has been swollen for more than a year now. My left tonsil is okay and not swollen. I noticed that my right tonsil swollened a few weeks after I had unprotected anal sex with a guy for about 10 minutes only. However, we did not cum or anything, but we had anal intercourse for our 10 minutes. Is this a sympthom of HIV infection? please advise. Thank you!

HI I have gone through your mail, as you said that you have enlarge right tonsil for last one year and you notice this after unprotected anal intercourse with a guy and now you are worried for HIV infection. After listening your story I would like to say that enlargement of tonsil on one side only occurs in - (1) Tonsillar cyst (2) Tonsilolith (3) Neoplasm of tonsil (4) Quincy . So you should contact an E.N.T.specialist for clinical examination to make the diagnosis and than treatment. As for as HIV infection is concern you should go your blood examination to clear the suspition. Thanks.
