I have recently been taking Zoloft and yesterday I took a higher dose (50mg). Yesterday I felt a burning in my esophagus and I thought nothing of it. I get this a lot because I don t take my pills with water. Today I took the same amount of medicine with ought water and the pain is way more severe. The burning spread to my upper chest and upper back. I tried drinking water and eating and it wouldn t go down. I feel like I need to burp but I can t. What should I do?
Hi, you have a burning in the oesophagus yesterday, and it is more severe today it may be the oesophagitis, or peptic ulcer, or cardiac pain which may mimic the gastric pain. I advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment. Thank you.
